Firdaus Memorial Charity & Education Trust is one of the oldest Education Trust of Ahmedabad which recently completed 50 years. It runs one of the oldest schools of Ahmedabad and it has pioneered the first CBSE-International school of Gujarat.
It was established in the year 1964 with the main object of providing education to every section of society. It was registered under the Bombay Charitable Trust Act 1950 with registered number E-1581 in the year 1968. Since, then the trust has served a remarkable role in educating the larger section of the society.
It had started a small school namely Amrut School 50 years ago with students of surrounding areas, with emphasis on designing a curriculum to ensure holistic development of children. It has taken rapid strides, thanks to the dedication and rich insight of the teachers.
The school encourages the professional growth of the faculty and staff members, and taking a tour will make you realize what makes the school stand apart. Today the school educates more than 3500 students each year and during the journey of 50 years it has educated more than 50,000 students.
The trust started Khyati Institute of Physiotherapy in the year 2014 with the aim to provide higher education to the students in the area of paramedical. The trust started the first CBSE-International school of Gujarat namely “Amrut Indian School” in the year 2015
Today the trust has following institutions in its credit list.
On the completion of its 50 years, the trust organized a program to honour the oldest teachers and well known personalities who educated from the school. The trust also support Girl Child education and offers 50% scholarship for the girl child. Apart from this the trust gives scholarship to poor and bright students without making difference of color, cast and creed. It also supports weaker section of society by donation of grain and clothes, financial support and medical assistance.
